Hello Everyone! It has been awhile... So much has gone on since our last post. We are now 16months old!
We have been enjoying the warm weather! Mom and dad waited through a long winter for the warm weather to arrive. We love being outside!
Let's back-track a bit... around Christmas time, we started getting really bad ear infections and they wouldn't go away. This continued for about two months until finally we got tubes put in our ears. We had a lot of sleepless nights do to our ear infections. It was a scary day for all four of us, mom, dad, Ethan and Eli. But we felt so much better afterward and still today are free from ear infections. However, two weeks after our surgery we both came down with horrible bronchitis! Another three weeks of long days, even longer sleepless nights, combined with breathing treatments, antibiotics and steroids! Oh my, it was a LONG winter. Now you understand why mom and dad were so excited to see the sun shine and the the temperature rise! Finally, we were able to get outside, run around and have the sun heal us!!! We are happy to announce that we have been sick free for over two months and we play outside daily! A lot of the time we play with our best friend Ava. Ethan now says her name.
Speaking of talking, we are trying to say everything. We mimic anything mom and dad say (kind of scary!). We say thank you, please, ball, purple, dog, water, uh-o, oh boy, no, and many more things. Everyday we try a new word. We are both close to 25 pounds and are working on our 9-10th tooth! We like to show every one our teeth too. So funny :)
As you can see from our pictures, we are full of energy! We have gotten two more haircuts, still love the bathtub, and running around in our diapers. Unfortunately we love it when dad feeds us, mom does not like it. You can see why from the pictures below. Mom is never sure if any of the food ever makes it into our mouths!!!
We love giving kisses, smiling for the camera, playing with pop-pop and papa and all of our family! We are excited for the neighborhood pool to open and for summer to begin! Mom is beginning to finally realize that the next two years are going to be go, go, go! She will never sit down again!!! Oh yeah, we have lots of curls in the back of our head. Dads favorite! And the car you see us in below, fighting over and getting stuck in. Yep, that was our Nana who not only got us just one to share, but got one that we could fall through! Thanks Nana, mom and dad will be dropping that off at your house for us to play with there!
